The Ealing Park Mansions private road can easily take a 7.5 tonnes truck from Travis Perkins, a full size skip lorry, and a full size rubbish collection track. Where Shopkeepers have chosen to build up to the edge of the service road meaning that the delivery trucks cannot open the doors that is a business decision, a bad one, but their choice! On principle, I have taken to not shopping in shops where the staff obstruct the pavement with deliveries or cut carpets on the pavement when they have perfectly good rear back yards. That the shops are practically all doing badly may have something to do with the fact that they have annoyed the locals with their poor customer service, rubbish all over their back yards, and epensive!
