| By every job I mean all jobs, whether it's holding a sandwich board for garage services or the chairman of BP. All vacancies to be available nationally, either at Job Centre workstations or elsewhere, and available to employment agencies (for a fee - could be a nice little earner). The only exceptions would be internal promotions and the like. As said it would help the genuine applicant and to some extent prevent fraud either of the employer or the employee. It would not mean the end of employment agencies (bodyshops) as their specialized knowledge would still be of enormous use in matching applicant to job. The only real losers would be those who carry their advertisements. |
