| What next one wonders? Perhaps we will all have to register on our Smartphones (if we have one) for our free first 30 minutes walk along the pavement. And what dastardly punishment will be imposed if one parks for free in a Stop and Shop place for 10 minutes (to buy a litre of milk) without phoning up for permission? Will the Council fine us for this? And how easy will it be in 2026 to then impose a charge for the first 30 minutes of Stop and Shop. No doubt this is all about dealing with the Climate Emergency....... |
