| One of the new Crossrail team was on the radio this morning and didn't dispute that 2021 was a more likely date for the service beginning. He even said that some stations might not be open even when the line starts running. Basically the new approach seems to be not to make any commitment to a specific date to avoid disappointment. It could be the classic new management trick of making out things are much worse than they actually are so that when you do better than originally expected you can claim to be a genius but that is probably too optimistic. |
