Yes agree with what you have written. There needs to be tolerance by the councils as parking restrictions are to severe. For example as I experience in Acton Gdns area. Double yellow lines on both sides of road completely unneccesary. Residents bays which are fair enough unless you are visiting & the house holder has no car to register & get permits, for permits. Surrounding roads all have restrictions, pretty much same as every where. In truth much as it annoys me I do not know answer. In places like Ealing BDWY commuters would dump their cars all day & if I was resident not be happy. I feel therefore there needs to be some free allocated spaces, roads dlear of lines, cpz, bays etc etc |
