| Cars are a luxury & an evil necessity but extremely convenient. No waiting for a bus or train, or walking at either end. I always say councils & TFL cause pollution, in fact in the news this week there are calls for traffic lights to be phased to alleviate congestion, something which I regularly write to TFL about & they ignore. Correct new builds, tower blocks are on the increase. Acton Gdns typically has double yellow lines everywhere for no reason except revenue. A car was ticketed tonight, causing no obstruction purely a money making excercise. We need some parking spaces, let 1 side be free of restrictionns & motorists able to park. Fines are beyond the average persons income - normal middle class workers, a days wages in fact. Public transport is diabolical,, buses are slow, driver changes & a whole number of hold ups. The tube in my experience of the last few weeks, misinformation. Next train platform 8 goes to platform 9!!! Ticket machines wont take new money!!! Train stops at White City & goes no further etc etc Motorist pay a premium & are treated like dirt |
