Firstly there are not plenty of stop and shop bays, if you take note they are always full. Secondly they are only for half an hour, which is not long enough if you wanted a treatment at a beautician or hairdressers. Not long enough if you needed to visit two or three shops. To survive many, if not most of the shops on northfields need to attract custom from other areas, there is not enough passing trade. If people cannot park they will not come to northfields and shops like cheddar deli, party shop, butchers, hair and beauty salons, computer shops etc etc, which bring people into the area, who intern notice, and use, restaurants cafes and other shops, will stop coming. The first steps to deteriation of the area. |
