| Plastic packaging is one of the biggest polluters. Ealing council has failed to let everyone know that the only type of plastic that is being currently recycled is types one and two and all other types cannot. Therefore when you diligently put all types of plastic together please bear in mind that you are purely allowing the statistical figure go up but in actual fact most of the plastic ends up in land fill. There was a BBC2 program on this and clearly this is not clarified by ealing council. I guess it helps them bump up the recycling figures!!!! |
