| Philippa, you could help the drive for net zero by donating your hot air to the cause. There’s enough emanating from you to power half of London. You clearly know very little about most things but put yourself forward as an expert on pretty much everything. Certainly plonking massive tent across large parts of Walpole and encouraging thousands of people to trample across it isn’t going to improve the ground compaction there. Weed is a perfectly acceptable term. If you got out a bit more you might learn that the RHS uses the term, and it’s used to describe a plant griwingcc bf where it’s not wanted. There are umpteen invasive non native species of plant growing all over the UK and there are ones in Lammas Park that the council has been made aware of. You won’t be so strident if they find their way into your garden and smother your roses. The Council has laughably declared the Lammas ditches a wetland, without applying any resources to ensure such a habitat is properly maintained. One suspects it won’t be looked after whatsoever but simply left to fester. This isn’t an echo chamber. It’s an online forum. Just because you showed yourself up there’s no need for you to make spurious claims. |
