| Eric has opened a window into much bigger schemes involving much of the Uxbridge Road corridor from and including the Lido junction westwards. I don't recall a comsultion like the Pope's Lane modifications now on the official Council website. I remember a patchy exhibition in West Ealing Library run by Sustrans that no one seemed to understand. If I fully understood what was happening I would probably be shocked. Everything seems to be driven by money; common sense and good design become casualties. Is anyone out there fully aware of these "under the radar" proposals? |
