| >Thanks for the link to the traffic order, but I can’t see it explains what’s going to happen to the farmers market once the cycle lane is in place, and which is what quite reasonably concerns Eric. I think it's pretty obvious if you think about it for more than two seconds what will happen to the farmers market when the cycle lane is there, exactly the same that happens to it today with there being two car lanes running through it. There is nothing Eric is reasonably concerened about here, his clear hatred of cycling and cyclists is totally unreasonable and part of the reason why he's dishing out this misinformation I suspect. >And there’s no link I can see to the map he and others refer to. Where do I go to find these? Anybody can sign up to emails from the farmer's market, it's how I know about the temporary move and where it's going to. Pretty sure the traders will let regulars know too, and heck, when the market is at the other place for a bit it will probably pick up some new and returning customers. >Has there been any publicity or consultation about the plans and their impact on the farmers market which has been such a huge success over the past 15 years or so. There's the traffic order which is the statutory consultation (it's up on lampposts around the area too), I've not seen anything else but I can't imagine this hasn't been done without consulting locals around the area and the market itself. |
