(sic) Depending on which element of the Section 137 of the Highways Act 1980 is used to prosecute then it could mean a fine of up to £1000 (typically £1-200) and points. Easy to identify such law-breaking by the Vehicle Reegistration Mark. if a few of the flagrant abuses by e-Bike and e-Scooter riders were punished with fines, points and confiscation then perhaps the pavements would be safer for all users. |
