| Ben, you are coming across as a narcissistic virtue signaller. I don’t condone blocking of pavements by anyone Ben, but cars are removed if parked illegally and fines are issued. As usual you shift the argument to deflect from your very weak position. This about dumped bikes. Even you might understand that. Northfields station remains impossible for anyone with even moderate mobility issues. There’s been a long campaign to get something done about this but campaigners are told to fund a feasibility study themselves to the tune of tens of thousands of pounds. Meanwhile cash is lavished on cycle lanes for the minority who really are not needy or victims (much as you’d like to be). As Nigel points out, the disabled parking at EB is farcical. Yet there are lots of cycling racks close to the entrance for all those fit and able bodied Mario’s to leave their machines. Does that not strike you as odd? As the old saying goes, the true test of a civilisation is how it treats its most vulnerable members. You’d fail. |
