| The London Cycling Campaign put out the myth that wearing a helmet made drivers of motor vehicles more ‘reckless’ around cyclists. No evidence put forward to support that assertion, as usual. The scaremongering by the LCC has actually been a deterrent to new cyclists. Conversely, UK Cycling says on its website that London is one of the safest places to cycle, with or without infrastructure. Just fancy that. |
