| No Ben, the stupidity emanates entirely from you on this. You do argue all the time that cycling is great, when clearly it’s not for the majority of people. Lime is expensive. People I’ve talked to who use them all say that. They are also poorly maintained and can be difficult to handle. Then there’s the problem of parking them where there’s no space at the destination. That’s something you overlook. Often they end up closer to where they started. If the same investment was put into making public transport better in London then it would be far more pleasant for those people who choose not to use it. Still, you can console yourself with the thought that the rain today will mean far more bikes available for hire as those fair weather cyclists won’t be bothering. |
