Cyclists pay taxes Peter, council tax, income tax VAT etc... I bet some pay more than you do, so get off their roads. Sure, somebody who is cycling is not paying fuel duty or VED for it (neither of which are hypothecated for road spending anyway) and only some pay (private companies) for insurances. But to assert people cycling don't contribute anything is clearly a massive nonsense, and yhoui've done this more than once. |
