Hi Colin, I absolutely agree everyone should see it with their own eyes, and I walk through Lammas Park fairly often, and work means I have passed through it twice daily over the last week. I wouldn’t agree with your use of the word ‘swamp’ as there is no water in the park, and hasn’t been for almost 6 months. The area in the north-east of the park has become a meadow, with lots of plants and wildflowers, and I’ve seen other people walking through and sitting around there looking quite happy. I’ve taken photos occasionally to document the changes. The area to the west is a building site, and we all know the term ‘looks like a building site’ as one used for something that looks terrible. However this past week work looks to have sped up considerably. Along with everyone else, I look forward to seeing it finished. These are my recent observations and I’m happy to hear yours and anyone else’s who might be reading this. And as I mentioned in my post, ‘I am only one person, and so I invite everyone here to add any sources they have, so that a comprehensive database can be formed’. Have a good day, and hope you avoid the rain. |
