| The facts, I started the change.org petition. It currently has over 900 signatures. Every signatory has provided a postcode. Well the majority are local people change.org is a national charity platform so some of these postcodes are outside of the borough. It could well be that some of the people outside the borough have family inside or work in the vicinit. However It was decided for belt and braces to launch a second petition that would be solely for people inside the borough and was an official council petition. I have been notified by Ealing democratic services that I will have the opportunity to present the case on behalf of the collective 800+ local people who have signed at April‘s council meeting. If you would like your park back, if you would like an open space for children to play on and families to picnic in instead of a storm water facility with toxic water in it. Please go onto the council website and sign our petition. Thank you. |
