Dear Susan, as I said to Paul, To repeat, I am reporting that had a bad experience at the Rose and Crown, others have had similar experiences recently, and that there people who go there may by exposed to the risk of something similar as the line and general management remains the same, a "zero" star rating comes from me. I do not have to justify my thoughts or feelings, thankfully we are still just about allowed to think our own thoughts in this country, and we do not have Chairman Mao's Re-education Camps, nor the Soviet Gulags to implement "right thinking". Your analysis of the Rose and Crown in terms of its target market is proabably correct, as per the Fullers mantra, however, the reality is different. Susan, I have noted your approach to things local and Ealing as being very reactionary and I would classify you as a person to whom a meal is "good" because you paid for it, so it must be good because how could you be taken in by inferior product? As you do not have a framework to compare-and-contrast on a borader scale you cannot appreciate that to other people with different experiences and expectations, may have a DIFFERENT point of vew. What you should be asking is: "What is wrong with the Rose and Crown, and why?" |
