| I'm told by someone who works in a similar field is that it is revenue not profit that matters with schemes like this. If a institution can show it is bringing money in, it is more likely to get matched funding from grant awarding bodies. They often don't offset the cost of raising that revenue. So perversely the car parking could run at a loss but they would still benefit financially. Don't think it will though because, as you rightly say there will be lots of cars coming to the new sports hub. Does anyone know what time the floodlit pitches operate until. |
