| Not sure whether you mean Chiswick House or Gunnersbury but I don't think in either case commuter parking was a big issue, it just gets used as a justification. The real reason is always to raise revenue. Chiswick House car park isn't close to any tube station and there was ample non-CPZ parking nearby so commuters were never an issue there. I have never heard of anyone saying they have had a problem parking at Gunnersbury other than at the weekend. |
