Presumably because of the cuts to local authorities there has been money allocated specifically for potholes in budgets. £420 million last year and a call for more this year from MPs. Too much road transport is a problem all over. Why aren't we paying a big premium for all that unnecessary online shopping delivered the next day and why aren't the companies paying a decent amount of tax for the damage they are doing to our roads, pavements and air quality? |
