| I have to agree with Sioux and feel that its a real shame that people feel this way about Ealing. I too would like more variety but think all in all, it's not doing too bad! Yes Ealing Broadway station could be greatly improved but how long do you really spend there? Off the tube and out you go! If you hate it that much why not travel to South Ealing and enjoy a brisk walk to the centre, i do it everyday! I really don't understand why you called Sioux an 'empty headed snob', there was nothing in her post to give that impression and i think it's pretty harsh! Yes, many things can be bought cheaper on the net but with clothes you really need to try them on. Also, sometimes its nice to just get away from the computer and have a look around. There are also some really great places to eat, the hare and tortoise is a real favorite and W5 is great for fresh juices and sandwiches. For a nice meal you have Charlottes place and the Ealing Park tavern. As for Monty's it closed earlier this year not two years ago! All in all Ealing could be greatly improved and has definitley gone downhill in the ten years i've lived here, BUT it's still keeping its head above water and we should appreciate what we have. |
