The answer is obviously to have eyes tested by the fab Pascale in David Clulow.

But apart from that, what a grim experience: The M & S is understocked "You'll need to go to Westfield for men's coats", there's no top man " you'll need to go to Westfield or Kingston for men's coats" We couldn't find anywhere we wanted to have lunch (one nut-allergic vegetarian, one anti-snacks and one on a no carb diet)

The only shops doing vigorous trade seemd to be Primark and Poundland

And then we tried FOUR different machies to pay for the parking and none of them worked. The cars were going round in circles, it was raining and when I eventually just drove to the barrier, they said the machines weren't working but didn't apologise and wouldn't let me out without a guard coming down from some office, solemnly taking my two quid, calling the office who finally let me out.

What a shower!

Won't go again till my eyes need testing.
