Let us just hope David, that the planning Officers have not been negligent in omitting to obtain documentary evidence which proves that the new people are in fact extended family members. Some postmen are friendlier than others. Arthur, those figures are horrifying. No wonder I got a letter a while ago from my doctor asking if I still lived at the address on their records. The discrepancy puts the Council in a rock and a hard place because the central govenment grant is partly based on population. Ealing didn't do so well on this grant and doesn't expect to do so in the forthcoming year. So we all suffer with higher taxes or with fewer projects being undertaken in the borough. Must be happening all over the place. That is why there has to be an extra duty on the planners to investigate an obtain hard evidence. Incidentally am I to wonder whether Minutes are being doctored? |
