| There are sometimes that you just can not do that. as hanwell is closed on a sunday we often had to pick people up whop were visting either from boston manor or ealing broadway. to get a bus would just add so much time. and when folk had luggage even more so. my girlfriend who died last year was disabled and so the car was her lifeline. to be able to drop friends off and pick them up added greatly to her life. when obstacles are put in the way and no one from the council is genuinely interested then what can we do. let us see whether we get commitments or just crappy aspirations this may |
