Tony Price's reference to "ethnics" (whatever they're supposed to be) proves that I hit the nail on the head with my earlier posts: he is on the lookout for scapegoats for the lack of a Christmas tree outside Tesco's. P.S.:- We did not have a Xmas tree in our flat this year (not because we happen to be secularist, but because we are broke). My Muslim Pakistani landlord, on the other hand, lives just across the road from me - and he had a huge tree with magnificant decorations in his sitting room (possibly at the insistence of his two teenage daughters, who pretty much call the shots in his household). Isn't reality so different to what the Tony Prices of this world would like to think it is? |
