| By the way, surely the simplest and therefore more likely to be correct reason for not telling us what the reason is, is that this is a 'fire and forget' standard reply from a complaints manager who has no idea there was ever meant to be a tree there, and has (rightly, I suspect) felt no reason to discuss it with anyone else, and has concluded this is a trivial matter compared to product/service complaints and other things which are more core business to Tesco. For Tony Price to read some kind of senior-level conspiracy into this is just barmy. I doubt anyone other than this one person currently at the company has even heard of the tree, and she only heard it from the writer above and has dismissed the issue. Nobody else will even have seen the emailed query, I'm sure. |
