Sadly I am under the impression that money raised for good causes seldom reaches it's destination in it's entirety. By the time the various departments get their 'expenses' and so on how much is left at the end I wonder?

Remember the huge amount raised for the Tsunami? Long afterwards the people in that area were STILL awaiting the necessary funds.
