| Paul (1) My councillors Rai and Shaw before the last election wrote,"Vote for me to represent you." On this issue they have been silent; no representation, no sugeries and no Ward Forums.... just an unsigned sheet from LBE talking about "repairing the damage done to the grass". (2) So how does it happen that fluids in a combined sewage system go anywhere but through that system. Please tell us the well documented cases in the Lammas Park area. You say it is a common problem. If so common why is this the first we have heard of it. As I stated how is this misconnection possible apart by the actions of the authorities. (3) If misconnection is such a common problem in this area why was this not taken into account before any works began? (4) After a member of the public discovered E.coli in Lammas Park Thames Water investigated at the junction of Elers and Waldemar Ave. To my knowledge no one was arrested for illegal connections. Those investigations took place in the road so one assumes the misconnections were the actions of the authorities. (5) Has what you call an important scheme been cancelled for it has now become a Wetland and not a flood eleviation scheme? |
