| Paul, Thanks for this. Who gave you this information? Maybe someone might be able to explain why there was so little information, nay secrecy, about this major scheme in the public domain. So very little information!! It feels like an abuse of the public by Thames Water and London Borough of Ealing. It seems that the Ombudsman has in part picked up on this but not the design secrecy that is the core of the problem. If there are misconnected homes then this surely has to be the responsibility of the authorities (see above) and their approval systems. Homeowners don't sneak out at night, dig up the road and make an illegal connection. If they worked without permission or Regs approval on a connection within their property then no matter because of the "combined" system in this area.(see my previous post). The question remains, "When, if at all, are the misconnected homes going to be connected properly and the scheme commissioned?" Otherwise an enormous amount of money has been spent with no result. We as residents should be told. We have and those who follow will pay for this. We have a right to know. Renaming the scheme solves nothing. Residents just aren't that stupid. This design fault and not the periferals should have been the focus of the Ombudsman's findings. Far from being served and represented by these authorities I feel we have been treated like a mere punters. Clearly Nanny knows best. |
