| Oh Ben, you are getting desperate now. It’s for the council to produce evidence that schemes are required. Remember the ‘open, honest and transparent’ pledge Peter Mason made, but seems to have conveniently forgotten. They stuck one up by Notting Hill and Ealing school which the school didn’t request and which is unnecessary. As Peter and others have said there is a necessity for some children to be driven to school (for many and varied reasons), so closing roads just pushes the problem elsewhere. Ironically there’s a cycling twat in my road who ferries his kids to and from a private school on the other side of Ealing twice a day. His diesel car even displays a sticker telling wardens that they are parked temporarily to do school pick ups. Yet he, like you is vociferous in his condemnation of others for doing the same. You all seem to be mentally challenged. |
