| Perhaps you don’t have school age children. You seem angry. As a parent of an 8 year old at Fielding, crossing the road was way too often very dangerous. Midhurst Road is used by a lot of traffic as a cut through and often motorists driving way too fast. Coupled with this, cars park on the double yellow lines meaning restricted view for pedestrians and motorists. Obviously these two things equal increased danger to the safety of the area’s children. If you value the lives of children, along with their safety, perhaps you could (metaphorically) walk in the shoes of said children for a moment, and be pleased that the brief periods when most children are walking into and out of school offer a safer and less stressful environment. Or maybe you can’t. |
