What a bizarre comment. Kew Gardens has no correlation with Lammas. The beauty of this local park is that it was a safe space for kids to run around in. No water hazards. Away from the roads (though Dismal Driscoll and others think roads are a suitable play area for kids). One lady I know with a son with severe autism has told me he won’t go there now because it’s no longer a familiar space. Kew Gardens is also massively bigger than all the local parks in Ealing. Having a large lake there has no impact on the rest of it. Lammas is now sewage treatment works. It’s not even going to be a proper pond, just a sequence of massive muddy puddles with fetid water at the bottom. How lovely. |
