I know that this topic was discussed earlier this year, but now the cut off time is upon us I think it might be worth some further campaigning about the absurdity of stopping garden waste collection at this time. My garden is full of plants which are only just starting to die off - even a large beech tree is only partly changing colour. I would say there is at least a month of substantial garden waste to come. Anyone who thinks that there is no need for garden waste collection at this time of year not only doesn't have a garden - they are also blind because a walk along any street will give ample evidence of plants on their way out but not yet gone. |
