Am I misreading the Lib Dems policy on EV charge points in the borough (see article currently on front page)?

From what they say they appear to be advocating greater subsidy to fund more stations and cheaper charging rates. This would effectively be a wealth transfer to a group of people (EV owners) who, on average are significantly more wealthy than the average for the borough.

The cheapest and easiest way to boost EV usage would be to encourage safe cross pavement charging for people without front drive space.
