Nigel, why do you need to be so pompous on a mundane subject like this one and on an everyday forum too? Tailor your language and the context to those that read your stuff on here! You should know that writers who use 'big words' can obfuscate meaning. Clever people that write well avoid doing this. If you need an example...why say velophiles instead of plainly referring to people who enjoy cycling? Which is easier to understand? Shall I be the new velophile melophile? |
