Perhaps you should look at the number of things that the Council has to do. Are you suggesting that there should be no social care for those who need it? Should the Council deal with that and with Children in Care or deal with things which residents often could quite easily do for themselves and many do eg picking up litter? It is ALL politics since the cuts have come from a political party who do not want to provide services.  They want to reduce state services as much as they can.  They want to sell off and privatise everything they possibly can.
