Can you give us more details on how much the 'PC Lefty Woke Political Agenda' is costing us out of council tax revenue? If you are referring to Active Travel measures they are largely funded by grants which ultimately come from central government. Nearly every council in London has raised council tax by the maximum, and despite the undoubted pain it will cause many, it is an increase well below inflation. Unless you can provide evidence otherwise, I'm inclined to believe that the main reason they have increased by the maximum amount is rising costs due to inflation. |
