Thank you and my apologies for any ambiguity in my post. With regard to proximity, in an ideal world, the vehicle would be directly adjacent to the casualty. When however we had an older church member collapse the ambulance had to use our car park and bring a wheeled stretcher to the patient. The car park is around 30 metres (100 feet) from the door of the church. It took the two paramedics moments (certainly not) 25 minutes to wheel the patient from church to the ambulance where she had an almost instant revovery (but was taken to Ealing for a checkup). This is why I posted that it would not take 25 minutes. |
