Does not really matter whether it was 20m away, But, nonetheless it really should have been reported correctly. Even 20m away compromises time and access and the means to leave the vicinity when it all jams up from obstruction from which there is no escape. Which has happened with a non emergency but local service vehicle in Murray Road. Next time it could be 200m away, torrential rain or a situation that requires returning to the vehicle. Not to mention the compromise in safety for the security of the vehicle whilst unattended,. A sad indictment of how things are these days. Any compromise over access is a serious risk and that has to be taken seriously. Despite the claims by the Officials, I am still trying to work out how a fire appliance measuring 8ft min width can negotiate gaps measuring under  8ft and even less over the diagonals which to clear will involve skilful and meticulous manoeuvring and near impossible in the dark?
