| I get the impression that the recycling and waste collections that many flats should have had years ago and which we were expecting to be put in place never were. There has been a change and instead of landlords and managing agents having to hire eurobins from the Council there appear to be many more wheelie bins allocated. Nothing wrong with that only that landlords and managing agents need to be more responsible for making sure that the space is allocated and maintained. Finding estate agents moving wheelie bins before they take a photo of a house before marketing it tells a story. We also need to know exactly what we are expected to do AND what we should expect the contractors to do. For instance I was told that they should be looking in dustbins to see if there is any waste/recycling that they should be collecting - not all of us have room for wheelie bins. Yet they are in such haste that they can completely miss wheelie bins of the right colour sitting quite obviously out for collection. |
