| I agree with Carole Bonifas, I am a life long labour voter, who left the party over the Iraq war decision. I will not rejoin as you have to join your local branch, rather than the central party. I am particularly unhappy with the social cleansing of the South Acton Estate, with shades of Lady Porter, if Brent can manage to rebuild and develop an estate and house all the original residents as well as include private housing why can't Ealing? But the inability to listen to their constituents, to consult thoroughly and take note of the response, the inability of ward councillors to respond to emails and not listen to what is happening at street level and the poor management of the officers, and the removal of good schemes which work such as Streetwatchers for a six page form on the internet which is so offputing, people cannot be bothered to complete it especially as it has a reputation of not being answered. I could go on! |
