| None of the pavements along & off Windmill Rd in Northfields have been gritted. Because of my knee injury I am petrified walking to the bus stop every morning and I'm usually close to tears. If you're young, fit and able bodied,I know it must sound ridiculous, but but for some people, especially the elderly, is can be very frightening. I was thinking today that if I had a shovel, and wasn't so worried about falling over, that I'd go out and try to remove some of the ice to make a pathway. I'm suprised that more people haven't done this already to help others, but I guess people have got better things to worry about! |
