There is no hidden agenda by Councillors to introduce CPZs, other than to respond to the requests of local residents.

The way to "fight it" is to respond to the consultation.

If the majority of the community wants a CPZ we'll have one, if they don't we won't.

There was strong demand for a CPZ around Boston Manor tube station, so one was introduced a year or two ago.  Some residents, just outside that zone, then complained about "creep", so we are proposing extending the zone.  Proposing not deciding!  This now means that we are giving residents, who are just outside the proposed new extended zone, the opportunity to form their judgement on whether they would be affected by "creep".

No hidden agenda.  Your judgement will count.  The decision will in effect be taken by residents.
