| According to the RAC website, traffic wardens have to give a grace period of 10 minutes from sighting to issuing a ticket. https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/legal/traffic-wardens/ Are you sure it was not 13 minutes? How do you know that it was precisely 3 minutes? Did you look at your watch when you got out of the car? Crucially, why did you not (want to) buy a parking ticket? Did you get out of the car and decide not to buy a parking ticket because you wanted to see how long it would take before a warden slapped a ticket on your car? Or were you standing by your car trying to register and Mr Zealous-Traffic-Warden arrived to give you a ticket whilst you were registering your vehicle on the app? Some very dubious claims of yours. |
