D’oh! There you go again Homer, arguing over something that isn’t an issue. Clearly you don’t go to football, at Brentford or anywhere else. Do you not realise that most football grounds built in urban areas don’t have car parks since they were usually built in the late 19th or early 20th centuries in areas with high population densities. Loftus Riad. Craven Cottage. Highbury. Griffin Park. The list is endless. At the time they drew their support from the local area. Those modern stadia that were built on brownfield sites always have big car parks attached. Derby County. Bolton Wanderers. What is true, but you choose to ignore it, is that a large number of people do drive to games at Brentford and park in the streets around South Ealing. Those who live there will attest to the fact. Maybe you should accept you are utterly wrong in your assumptions. |
