| Interesting story on the front page, which illustrates how a supposedly socialist council is a) refusing to recognise a perfectly legitimate union and b) is fleecing its residents for huge sums of money. The PCN target is clearly more than just a rumour, especially since parking violations ont have increased anywhere near the figure quoted in the story. Revenue raising pure and simple. And for those Homer Simpsons out there, don’t forget that this is a council which still encourages non residents into the borough with cheap parking in CPZ shared use bays, including some located outside schools.
