I have been very fortunate in that my long covid symptoms are restricted to a fundamental change in my sense of taste and a strangely much improved sense of smell, which will, allegedly 'self-correct'.

Covid was acquired while an in-patient in hospital (apparently quite common) however this, fortunately means almost constant PCR tests and my fever 'spiked' within 24 hours (ruddy frightening at the time).

The only other effect is a paranoia anytime I hear a dry cough :-)
