The real risk is suffering Long Covid, now being referred to as Post Covid Syndrome. Those not getting jabbed are at extreme risk of both Serious illness and long term possibly even permanent after effects. I cannot understand why take such a risk, let alone be a risk to others. This is rendering many people virtually disabled and is life changing. It is affecting people in differing age groups and across the whole gamut of demographics. Even being fully vaccinated does not mean you won't get this, but at least it minimises the risks. But does not mean complete immunity from either Covid or Long Covid. We ought to at least use masks in Public places like supermarkets to minimise the spread as it could, even with 3 jabs still leave more than a few days in bed as it's calling card. Until a vaccine that eradicates contagiousness comes alone we have to be careful. |
